| In a Night 28/29 of March our house caught
fire. I lost my
dear friend, companion, Daisy.
I wish I had taken more photos of her and spent more time with her, but
you cannot turn the clock back.
Daisy was crazy like Dobermans are, but the sweetest dog in the world.
She came to our house in December 1998 as a tiny, very small puppy. The
doctor said that she is a great Pincher and she would not grow bigger then
20 cm. She was in very bad condition. Full of worms and sick. She
couldn't even eat alone (she was probably 3 weeks old when I saved her life
for the first time). I was her whole family, her mom, her sister, companion
in play. Soon Daisy had grown and got healthy. Finally she was 68 cm high and
about 50 kilos, moreover she had a GREAT HEART. Daisy was
always with me, never accepted another person or dog. There were two
things in her life: Janina and Janina again.
Then in April 2002 a lovely Boxer came to our house and
stayed and we
called her Lucy. From now on there was a new friend, someone who Daisy
could take care of and someone to teach house manners to. They were like
head and neck, if I can describe it that way. Daisy was the one who
always wanted to make a point and Lucy was never worried about anything.
Daisy the TOP DOG, Lucy not exactly under dog. Always together, till the
day of the accidental death of Daisy.
Daisy was taken in the night and nobody told me where she
would be staying
from then on.
Goodbye my dear friend. It was a privilege sharing my life with your
wonderful spirit. You gave me so much and I honour you.
Lucy needs me now.
I've always said that my obligation to a pet is to give it the best
care and love I can. I vowed to take care of my animals to the best of my
ability and always to include them in my family. I know that Daisy had the
best possible life a dog could hope for. |
